Mac was born to blend into our clientele's company culture, as our employees do every day. We don’t want our client employees or management team to view us as an outsourced provider: We want them to view us as their Human Resources department, blending into their culture. Our on-site HR employees who work for Resource Alliance are actually given the client's business cards, with phone numbers and e-mail addresses from clients’ corporate locations. Some have even been chosen as our clients' Employee of the Year!
Dennis and his brother Andy Weyenberg started Resource Alliance in August, 2001, when he noticed a trend in the Professional Employer Organization industry towards more flexibility and hands-on human resources services for small to medium sized businesses. Resource Alliance was formed in order to create customized HR solutions for companies with HR departments needing additional support, and for companies needing to develop a cost effective HR support structure. Mr. Weyenberg holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
In August of 2001, Andy decided to put his knowledge (work experience and education) to the test when he and his brother, Dennis, started Resource Alliance. Resource Alliance provides HR outsourcing for companies of all sizes as well as providing Employee Benefits and Administration Services to their clients’ employees. Mr. Weyenberg holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Georgia State University.
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Scott Mastley has over 20 years of generalist experience in human resources. He leads our team of HR and payroll professionals, drives our employment law compliance efforts, and helps with business development. Scott is a Double Dawg, with a Bachelor of Science in Education and an MBA from the University of Georgia.
Doris has 20+ years of experience and is approaching 10 years with Resource Alliance. She was the onsite HR Manager for a multi-state property management company for 8 years before helping us manage performance and client service as the Regional HR Manager. Doris is now bringing her expertise to the role of HR Director.
She has worn several hats since landing in Atlanta years ago. Prior to joining Resource Alliance, Doris spent 10 years at Administaff, where she worked her way up from HR Coordinator to HR Specialist. Some of her previous positions were Recruiting Specialist, Credit Analyst, and Corporate Card Support Supervisor.
Doris obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. She is an active member of the Atlanta chapter of her university’s alumni chapter and a member of SHRM. She is a dedicated HR professional and a leader for our onsite teams.
Mr. Koch joined Resource Alliance in 2007 as Benefits Advisor. His responsibilities include assisting clients and potential clients obtain health insurance coverage for their employees, implementing a quarterly meeting program with each client to help drive strategic benefit planning and monitoring & communicating current events in the insurance industry. He has over 20 years of experience in the insurance and healthcare industry. Mr. Koch holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Illinois State University in 1992.
In 2006 Mr. Edenfield joined the Resource Alliance team as the Financial Controller. His prior experience in Lean Manufacturing while at Nordson Corporation has helped Resource Alliance to serve its clients in payroll software conversions and the creation of custom General Ledger export files. Lean strives to root out inefficiencies in processes and provides a logical approach to monitor, learn, prioritize and implement efficient processes. Mr. Edenfield holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Bob Jones University and a MBA from Webster University.
Nina joined Resource Alliance in 2013 and has over 12 years of HR experience with prior roles at John Deere Landscapes and Saia Motor Freight. She brought experience in employee relations, policy development, performance management, recruiting, and is now managing HR Business Partners as an HR Director.
Nina holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Development from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She also holds a Master’s in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. She has been certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) since 2010.
As a Nashville native, cooking and eating good food runs in her blood. Her family owns a well known restaurant in Nashville named Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack. She enjoys cooking and baking desserts infused with liquor and often provides delicious desserts for our events.

Jennifer Martz is a Senior Human Resources Business Partner with over 20 years of experience partnering with business leaders in both the Technology and Consumer Goods industries to solve the most complex human resources problems. She held HR roles in such organizations as Iron Mountain, Recall Corporation, Prosys Information Systems, and multiple divisions of Newell Brands. Through collaboration and an understanding of business needs & objectives, she has helped companies achieve their goals through strategic workforce planning, talent management programs, performance initiatives, and the development of positive employee relations programs.
Julie Brown joined Resource Alliance as the Payroll Director in March 2018 and is responsible for the performance of our payroll services. She comes to us with 35 years of payroll processing and managerial experience. Her various roles include responsibilities from multistate payrolls to implementation for large, multistate clients, project management and operations management.
